I'm Paweł Kapała. I love solving problems. Sometimes I use code to solve problems.

Since 1993 I've been using computers for fun and profit. Initially my main motivation was gaming (DOS back then). When I got bored with games installed on my computer, I started hacking and modding games. That paved my way to programming. So I started with Turbo Pascal (because I got hold to the compiler and a book). Yes back in the day people learned how to code from books.

Since 2005 I've been working as a software developer comercially. My core competences float around Java, but I'm trying to stay tool agnostic, and pick tools to the job as I go.

Since 2013 I'm facinated with Lisps and Clojure
